Reassuringly experienced

Wind Direct specialises in wind turbines for direct supply to energy users, and is founded on the expertise of pioneering companies who began working in renewable energy in the early 1990’s.   Wind Direct was formally a business stream of the Wind Prospect Group, a company with almost two decades of experience in wind energy development.  The ownerships of Wind Direct transferred to Infinite Renewables in May 2014. 

 

Since the energisation of Wind Direct's first site at Longhill Road in 2005 the company has installed further wind turbines on sites at Eastman Chemical, Solutia Chemicals, Dewlay Cheese, East Midlands Airport, FMC, and Eye Airfield.  Greenvale and Goat Hill Quarry projects are currently under construction, due to be compleated by the end of 2014.

 

Each project seeks to bring about sustainability for businesses, providing them with low cost green energy and ensuring that they are able to reduce their energy bills.

 

Character

Wind Direct has grown out of a culture based on trust, accountability and devolution of responsibility.

 

The company is owned and run by its employees, meaning that everyone within Wind Direct shares common goals and interests that ultimately benefit both the business and the wider environment.
