Wind Direct always endeavours to minimise the impact of our wind turbines on the environment and local communities.

 

In order to ensure that each project is a suitable and appropriate development we always consult with statutory and non-statutory consultees early in the development process. It is important that we seek their advice to ensure that we minimise any potential environmental impacts our schemes might have. This consultation, together with careful consideration of the constraints associated with each potential site has meant that we have been able to achieve a high level of planning success.

 

Most importantly, every new turbine that we construct displaces carbon dioxide emissions produced by the burning of fossil fuels, thereby reducing the UK's contribution to global warming.
