Scoping Request: August 2011
A scoping response was received from Flintshire County Council in August 2011, this outlines the scope of work to be submitted within the Environmental Statement to support the planning application.
Whilst the initial scoping exercise was for a single turbine, following consultation it was established that a second turbine could also be located on site helping to meet Kingspan's energy needs. A further scoping exercise was undertaken to establish if any additional information is required from the relevant consultees given the second turbine on-site.
Planning Application Submission: December 2011
A planning application for the Kingspan Wind Energy Scheme was submitted in December 2011 and validated on 19th December 2011.
Planning Application Refused: 7th November 2013
The planning application was refused by planning committee for a number of reasons, including impact on aviation, cultural heritage and landscape.
Planning Application Submission: October 2014
A planning application for the Kingspan Wind Energy Scheme was submitted in October 2014 and validated on 19th November 2014.
